NSW Short Course: Nipperess outkicks Hunt for Gold

Running2London athlete James Nipperess has won his first NSW open cross country title in kicking away from training partner, and fellow Running2London athlete, Jeff Hunt. Jeff made his attempt to kick away up the final climb, but James' counter-attack was better as he opened up those all important metres needed to finish in front.

NSW short course cross country

Tomorrow afternoon, 17th July, Running2London athletes James Nipperess and Jeff Hunt will go head-to-head at the 2010 NSW short course cross country championships. It will be youth versus experience when James and Jeff battle it out in pursuit of the gold medal.

Running2London athletes Jeff Hunt (RBH), James Nipperess (SUAC) and Emma Rilen (SUAC) will today be racing for their clubs at the annual NSW road relay championships in Wollongong. James and Jeff will be continuing on with their winter season, whilst Emma makes a welcome return to racing.
