Arriving home from Melbourne after the Track Classic I had less than two weeks before my next race in Christchurch. Ken and I decided to use the time to get some quality sessions under my belt which will be of value to have a solid finish to the domestic season. This was an easy decision, because it’s not hard to want to come to training sessions week in and week out, because of our fantastic squad.

New Zealand’s premier track and field meet, known as the ‘International Track Meet’, is to be staged Thursday 18th March in Christchurch and is the next race date for Jeremy Roff, James Nipperess, and Bridey Delaney as they seek to press their respective cases for Commonwealth Game selection.

After so many months spent training for the current season, it finally arrived with a bang. The Sydney Track Classic and Melbourne Athletics tour meets are by far the highlights of the Australian Track and Field calendar.
